PROXIMITY SENSORS

 

 Inductive Proximity Sensors  

Inductive sensors detect only metallic objects at an factory set operating distance of up to 50 mm. Its capability of high speed non contact sensing of metal object can be used for position sensing, speed measurement, counting. They are insensitive to external conditions making it suitable to use in oily, dusty or corrosive environment.

 

 

 Photoelectric Proximity sensors  

Photoelectric sensors are meant to sense light reflecting or opaque objects at “user adjustable” operating distance. Fibre optic cable is used to “see” extremely small objects. Though switching frequency is less compared to Inductive sensors , high operating distance ( even up to 20 mts) is put at an advantage in applications like human body interference.

 

 Capacitive Proximity Sensors 

Capacitive Proximity Sensor is designed to detect, and react to any object which moves into the operating zone. The sensor contains an oscillator. The capacitance of this oscillator is linked with the sensing face and when any object moves into the operating zone, its capacitance activates the oscillator.

 

 Print Mark /Color Mark Sensors   

Print Mark Sensor is also know as Color Mark Sensor/ Registration Mark Sensor/ Scanning Head/ Mark Detector/ Eye Mark Sensor/ Photocell Camera. This is design for sensing registration mark. It continuously scans the presence of registration mark on moving packaging film.

 

 

CONTROLLERS

 

 Forward Logic Controller

Forward Controller is used in packaging machine along with Print Mark Sensor for cutting & sealing operation. This Forward Controller is mainly used in liquid filling machines to operate clutch break mechanism. This Controller takes input signal from Print Mark Sensor.

 

 

 Forward/Reverse Logic Controller

In most of the FFS (From Fill Seal) machines, Forward Reverse Logic Controller are used to keep correct poutch / bag length. This Forward Reverse Logic Controller takes input from Print Mark Sensor & two Proximity Sensors and in turn drives correction motor.

 

 Digital F/R Logic Controller cum Counter

Proximon also offers fully Digital Micro Controller based Forward Reverse Logic Controller. Besides driving the correction Motor (110 V Ac - 4 wire or 230 V AC - 3 wire , which is the main purpose of Forward Reverse Controller), it consists of two LED displays to show production count as well as speed ( RPM ) of the machine.
